Description
The DILOYA Double Outlet Briquetting Press is a hydraulic machine for converting loose, sorted metal chips into compact briquettes. Its distinguishing arrangement is the use of two outlets for finished-block discharge. This creates two defined collection positions and can help a plant organize downstream handling around the press. The two outlets do not, by themselves, establish a specific throughput; output depends on the press model, feedstock and complete cycle.
1> Operating Sequence
Prepared chips are fed into the machine, compressed by the hydraulic system and formed into briquettes. Finished blocks leave through the configured outlets and are collected in bins, on conveyors or by another specified handling arrangement. Outlet sequencing and control logic are selected for the machine; the design should be reviewed against the desired collection route and safe access for operators.
2> Suitable Chips and Preparation
Typical applications include separately sorted aluminium, copper, brass, iron or cast-iron machining chips. Chip size, springiness, alloy, residual coolant and contamination determine feeding reliability and briquette stability. Long tangled turnings may need breaking before pressing. A fluid-collection arrangement may be specified for wet chips, but actual fluid expression depends on the material and press settings.
3> Site and Model Selection
DILOYA should confirm required hourly output, chip samples, discharge-side clearance, bin or conveyor locations, electrical supply, foundation and service access. Chamber dimensions, pressing force, hydraulic power, controls and the dual-outlet layout can then be selected. Representative material testing is preferable before promising density, cycle time or fluid recovery.
Advantage
> Two discharge outlets: provide planned collection positions for finished briquettes.
> Organized downstream flow: bins or conveyors can be arranged around the dual-outlet layout.
> Cold compaction: turns loose chips into regular blocks without melting.
> Less loose-chip handling: briquettes simplify weighing, inventory and transport preparation.
> Grade separation: compatible metal chips can be processed in distinct batches to preserve material identity.
> Configurable controls: feeding, pressing and outlet discharge can be coordinated for the site's operating method.
> Optional fluid management: a suitable collection system can be included for wet feedstock.
> Application-specific design: outlets, pressing force and collection equipment are selected from actual chip and layout data.

Application
The DILOYA BPD Series double outlet briquettiing press can process below materials:

Aluminium Chips
Aluminium Chips are precision-processed from pure aluminum and aluminum alloy via CNC turning and milling. Strictly sorted, cleaned and dried, these chips feature uniform shape, low oxidation and zero sundry impurities. As premium recycled aluminum raw materials, they deliver stable metallurgical and physical properties, ideal for aluminum smelting, alloy production, chemical processing and thermal conduction applications with high cost performance.

Aluminium Turnings
Aluminium Turnings are lightweight, spiral-shaped metal chips generated during machining, drilling and milling. DILOYA briquetting and baling systems compact loose turnings into dense, manageable blocks, helping reduce storage volume, improve transport efficiency and support aluminium recovery.

Aluminium Granules
Aluminium granules are small, flowable particles produced by shredding, screening or size reduction. DILOYA aluminium granule briquetting machines compress this loose material into dense, consistent cylindrical blocks for cleaner handling, compact storage, economical transport and controlled furnace feeding.

Steel Chips
Steel chips from turning, milling, drilling and sawing are loose, oily and difficult to handle efficiently. DILOYA hydraulic briquetting presses compress carbon-steel, cast-iron and alloy-steel swarf into dense cylindrical briquettes, recovering part of the retained cutting fluid while improving storage, transport and furnace feeding. This application is intended for briquetting only.

Cast Iron Chips
Cast iron chips are fine, brittle machining residues that are abrasive, dusty and difficult to store or charge in loose form. DILOYA hydraulic briquetting presses compress grey-iron and ductile-iron swarf into dense cylindrical briquettes while recovering part of the retained cutting fluid for cleaner handling, efficient transport and controlled foundry feeding. This application is intended for briquetting only.

Steel Shavings
Steel shavings are long, curled machining residues that interlock into bulky nests and retain cutting fluid. DILOYA can compress foldable shavings directly into rectangular transport bales, or shred long tangled nests into short uniform feed before hydraulic briquetting. Process selection depends on shaving geometry, fluid content, required density and downstream furnace specifications.

Copper Chips
Copper chips from turning, milling and drilling are valuable but bulky, oily and easy to lose during handling. DILOYA hydraulic briquetting presses compact separated copper machining chips into dense binder-free cylinders while recovering part of the retained fluid for efficient storage, shipment and remelting. This Copper&Brass Scrap application is intended for briquetting only.

Copper Granules
Copper granules recovered from cable processing and wire chopping are valuable but easy to spill, oxidize and lose during handling. DILOYA hydraulic briquetting presses compact clean copper particles into dense binder-free cylinders for secure storage, efficient shipment, accurate weighing and controlled furnace charging. This Copper&Brass Scrap application is intended for briquetting only.

Brass Chips
Brass chips from machining valves, fittings and alloy components are loose, oily and difficult to transport efficiently. DILOYA hydraulic briquetting presses compress sorted brass swarf into dense binder-free cylinders, recovering part of the retained cutting fluid while improving grade control, storage, shipment and furnace charging. This Copper&Brass Scrap application is intended for briquetting only.
FAQ
What is the benefit of a dual-outlet briquetting design?+
A dual-outlet design needs to be judged by the selected machine's actual pressing and discharge sequence. Two outlets do not prove twice the accepted output or remove feeding limits. Compare Double Outlet Briquetting Press using briquette mass, operating cycle and collection requirements under the same feed conditions as the alternative.
- Finished briquettes per minute for the whole machine.
- Output per outlet, if separately stated.
- Press cycles per minute.
- Average accepted mass per briquette.
Without those definitions, a two-outlet description can easily be mistaken for twice the claimed mass output.
Do not infer production from outlet count alone. Ask whether the stated output is total finished briquettes, press cycles or output per outlet. The layout must allow both discharge streams to be collected without obstructing the operating sequence.
How do briquettes per minute relate to tonnes per hour?+
Convert pieces per minute to mass output using the measured average mass of accepted briquettes. Then account for the production time represented by that piece rate. A fast cycle producing light briquettes may deliver less mass than a slower cycle with heavier accepted units; catalogue piece rates are not interchangeable with tonnes per hour.
Illustrative calculation: 5 completed briquettes/minute × 2 kg/briquette × 60 minutes = 600 kg/hour while that rate is sustained. If the average mass or accepted running time changes, the hourly result changes as well.
The example explains the units; it is not a rating for a particular DILOYA press. Use measured mass and an agreed production period for acceptance.
A statement such as 5–6 briquettes per minute is incomplete without the material, briquette weight and sustained running conditions. Clarify whether the count is total machine output or per outlet, and distinguish trial rate from accepted sustained production.
How does variable-frequency screw feeding help a briquetting line?+
Variable-speed screw feeding helps coordinate delivery, but speed is not a direct mass-flow measurement. A change in chip density or screw fill can alter kilograms delivered at the same setting. Use an approved tuning method for the press; if the project needs accurate dosing, specify a suitable measuring and control arrangement separately.
- Confirm the screw's approved speed range.
- Check material movement at normal and low hopper levels.
- Observe whether the press is starved or over-supplied.
- Use only the approved coordination settings.
- Add a specified measuring arrangement if accurate mass dosing is required.
Screw speed alone does not establish precise mass flow. Bulk density, fill level and chip geometry influence delivery. A weighing or closed-loop metering requirement needs additional specified equipment rather than being assumed from speed control.
How are briquette diameter and dimensions chosen?+
Choose briquette dimensions from the receiver's handling and process requirements, then confirm that the feed and press can achieve them consistently. Diameter alone does not describe a package: length, mass, strength and retained fluid may also matter. An attractive sample size is not enough if it does not suit the customer's actual collection and charging route.
A larger briquette is not automatically better or heavier across different alloys. Confirm the useful dimensions after discharge and any permitted variation. Tooling choices and changeover requirements should be defined before ordering rather than assumed universally interchangeable.
Why do briquette density and strength vary?+
Briquette density and handling strength are related but distinct results. A dense unit may still have unacceptable edges or break during transfer, while different alloys need separate assessment. Record both dimensions and mass at a defined stage and test the handling that matters; do not transfer a maximum density from another material.
Assess what the receiving process actually needs: manageable handling, density, dimensional stability or another property. Trials should measure the finished product under agreed conditions. Do not assume a catalogue density or an attractive sample proves the result for every production stream.
