Mini Alligator Shear

The DILOYA Mini Alligator Shear is a compact, movable hydraulic cutting machine for light and relatively thin scrap. It helps workshops and collection points cut small-diameter cable and wire, aluminium profiles, copper tube and other suitable non-ferrous offcuts into manageable lengths. The machine is selected according to material cross-section, wall thickness and cutting-force requirements.

Vertical Gantry Shear

The DILOYA Vertical Gantry Shear applies a vertically moving hydraulic blade within a gantry-style structure to cut a broad range of compatible steel scrap. Designed for demanding recycling-yard duty, it combines a large feed opening with high-capacity cutting potential. The selected model, material section and operating cycle determine achievable production output.

Horizontal Grid Shear

The DILOYA Horizontal Grid Shear is designed to cut bulky waste plastic film and agricultural mulch film into pieces suitable for the next recycling step. Its grid-style cutting arrangement supports high-volume processing of lightweight, flexible feedstock. Output size and hourly throughput depend on film type, contamination, feeding consistency and the chosen machine configuration; this is not a heavy steel scrap shear.

FAQ

What does a hydraulic scrap shear do?+

A hydraulic scrap shear changes the size of approved metal by cutting it into pieces that the next handling or recycling stage can accept. The material's section and strength define the duty; the machine does not automatically sort or clean it. Vertical Gantry Shear is an example of a shear arrangement to assess against that required output.

The required output length, incoming geometry and material strength define the duty. Shearing changes piece size; it does not automatically sort alloys or remove contamination. Select the machine around actual scrap rather than only a nominal force rating.

Why do some scrap shears include pre-compression?+

Pre-compression can reduce the uncontrolled volume of bulky scrap and help present it to the cutting zone. Its purpose is material control, not permission to cut stronger sections. A large chamber, compression sequence and cutting head must be compatible with the same feed envelope; specifying each independently can create a bottleneck.

The benefit depends on scrap geometry and the selected shear design. It does not remove the need to respect section-strength and size limits. Chamber volume, compression sequence and cutting capacity should be matched together rather than specified independently.

Can a scrap shear cut hardened steel or high-strength alloys?+

Hardened and high-strength material needs specific approval because dimensions alone do not describe its cutting resistance or effect on the blades. If the grade is unknown, identify it before committing the load. Increasing pressure or testing an uncertain piece by trial and error is not a safe substitute for that assessment.

Provide alloy information, hardness where known and section geometry. Do not test unknown tough material by increasing pressure or overriding protection. Suitability must be confirmed for the selected blades, structure and hydraulic system before operation.

Can long pipes or profiles be fed directly?+

Long stock creates a handling envelope beyond the cutting opening. Its unsupported length and movement during positioning matter even when the cross-section appears easy to cut. Confirm approved support and presentation arrangements for the full piece; neither a generous opening nor a small section authorises unrestricted direct feeding.

Provide maximum lengths and describe the loading equipment. A preparation or support arrangement may be necessary. Do not assume that a small cross-section makes unrestricted long-stock feeding acceptable.

What matters for long-shift hydraulic-shear operation?+

Long-shift operation requires a sustained duty assessment, not just a maximum cutting-force figure. Feed consistency, cooling and scheduled servicing must support the intended hours and ambient conditions. Industrial Oil Chiller is relevant to thermal planning, but no cooling accessory should be treated as a universal continuous-operation guarantee.

Provide the expected hours, ambient-temperature range and scrap mix. Cooling and component selection must match the intended schedule. Continuous production still requires trained supervision, inspection and planned servicing; protective limits should not be altered to extend running time.
